My First Olaf (on My Favorite Snowman) ⛄️❤️

When I first started face painting, I started with painting an Olaf—on my son! I had practiced so many times on paper and practice boards, trying to get every detail just right. I thought I was ready… but once I had a real, wiggly face in front of me (even if it was my own kid), it was a whole new challenge!

Olaf’s goofy smile, stick hair, and that classic carrot nose are harder to capture than they look. I made a few mistakes, wiped and repainted, laughed a lot, and kept going. My son was so patient—and so proud when I finished. His big smile reminded me exactly why I love doing this.

Face painting isn’t easy. It takes time, practice, and a good sense of humor. But it’s always fun… and always worth it. ❄️💙
